PERRYS - Testament DVD
One of Southern Gospel's most beloved family groups, the Perrys, appear in this new, live DVD recorded at the 2017 National Quartet Convention at the Leconte Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. On this recording, the Perrys include Libbi Perry Stuffle, Jared Stuffle, Andrew Goldman, Troy Peach and the late Tracy Stuffle, with this DVD marking Tracy’s last NQC appearance.
Many of today’s top Southern Gospel songwriters have contributed their talent to the songs on “Testament.” The concert leads off with “Let’s Stop For A Moment” from the pen of Kyla Rowland, followed by “Moses And Elijah,” written by Dianne Wilkinson and Rebecca Peck. Enjoy this inspiring live concert and watch as each song reveals the heart of the Perrys.
This performance also includes the Perrys Reunion with former members including Debra Perry Reed, Randy Perry, Loren Harris (Kingdom Heirs), Nicole Watts Jenkins, Joseph Habedank, Nick Trammell (Mark Trammell Quartet), Katy Peach and Bryan Walker.
Additionally on the DVD is a special bonus in the form of a concept video for the Perrys’ hit, “It Carried Him.” Group member Troy Peach shares, “This song painted such a beautiful picture in our minds when we first heard it that we knew we had to create a concept video for it. Wayne Haun and Kirk Talley have created a powerful song with a timeless message.” Recorded at the picturesque Gallatin, TN farm of Tim and Nancy Dillman, “It Carried Him” features Knoxville pastor Eddie Sawyers (New Beverly Baptist Church) as the main character and also includes a cameo by songwriter Kirk Talley. "This video holds a special place in my heart," reflects Libbi Perry Stuffle, "because it was recorded at the home of my beloved Tracy's best friend, Tim Dillman. It's another way to honor the memory of my Sweet T."
